Practical e-learning solutions

WP2.3 members focused on developing e-solutions to support blended learning. This has led to a number of concrete e-learning solutions. We have developed e-learning materials in the field of advanced videography, enriched by the dynamics of H5P, immersion in virtual reality, the wonders of augmented reality and the complexities of developing serious educational computer games. We have achieved the creation of content-rich, highly interactive and effective e-learning resources that have been rigorously tested, including in pilot processes. Our masterpieces have now had their big debut in the school environment!

All the demonstration versions have been made and tested in collaboration with students.

The project teams have developed manuals for students and teachers on how to use the e-solutions.

During a study visit to Iceland, the last stop of WP2.3, we presented the learning materials developed in the project with partner schools from Trbovlje, Novo mesto, Celje, Koper, as far as Åssiden and Viken in Norway and Akureyri in Iceland. There were also practical workshops to continue networking and cooperation.

We invite you to take a look at the e-learning materials developed by each partner in the KIPSI project:

Interactive videos with H5P - two-way communication

The aim of the STŠ Koper was to develop learning materials for practical training, adapted to the needs of our school’s educational programmes. There is a lot of material on the internet, especially on YouTube, but this material is mostly for theoretical subjects such as mathematics, English, history, languages, etc. Also, the materials on the ...  Read more

Podcast as an introductory motivation

Østfold University, Viken Vocational College and Åssiden Secondary School have developed the so-called Future Classroom Labs at Østfold University. They decided to create a video or podcast that could serve as an introduction to a specific topic in the field of vocational and professional education. Some of the resulting videos and podcasts can be found ...  Read more

Interaction with the machine for the Technological and Industrial Production programme in collaboration with students from the Media Production programme

In this project, the departments of Technology and Industrial Production and Informatics and Media Production at Åssiden Upper Secondary School have joined forces. Students from the 1st year of Informatics and Media Production filmed and edited the content and equipped it with interactivity with the help of H5P. First year Technology and Industrial Production students ...  Read more

Film production for the Media Technician programme

A 360-degree interactive virtual tour based on a learning experience simulating professional film making. The action is set in a film studio. The user can walk through the different micro locations of the studio and learn about the basic components in a professional filming studio. After doing some research, we found that there is no ...  Read more

AR Guide to CNC machine operation for the Machine Technician programme

AR technologies combine the virtual and physical worlds, presenting an innovative approach to richer and more interactive learning experiences. In the Computer Assisted Technologies class, we decided to create a scenario representing the start-up of a CNC machine. This skill is fundamental and every student in the group must master it as a prerequisite for ...  Read more

XR technologies in robotics education for the mechatronics technician programme

VR technology has a very significant impact on spatial and visual memory and is a relatively low-cost technology where, in some cases, no physical equipment is needed and virtual education is the only option. According to scientific research, the information given is presented more intensively, affecting more centres in the brain and, consequently, the formation ...  Read more

Interactive 360° video
